Organic Media Online is owned by Organic Media, Incorporated, a non-profit organization formed in the State of Texas for the purpose of educating the public, from producers to consumers, about the benefits of organic farming.
This website is dedicated to the development of chemical free 100% ORGANIC food and animal feed. Our long range goal is to educate the agricultural community and consumers about the benefits of chemical free farming.
To launch the Foundation, my dad and step-mother, Fred and Linda Lundgren, purchased 102 acres of land in Eastern Travis County Texas near Austin. They leased the land to Organic Media Inc. for $1.00 per year. The land had been fallowed for a decade and was previously slated to become an airport. When the airport project was cancelled, my dad and Linda purchased the land and I cleared the land and prepared it for organic production.
On July 19, 2007 the farm was certified 100% organic by G.O.C.A and Organic Media, Inc. was issued Certification # 719801. Organic Media Inc., has applied to the IRS for Organic Media's 501C-3 tax exempt status. Visit the REVIEW OUR PROJECTS page for a detailed description of our efforts which include non-commercial family gardening education, the development of sustainable, drought resistent organically grown shallots and other certified products, an electric hydrogen project to an application for a non-commercial FM Radio Station which will focus on educating the public on energy independence and organic farming.
Organic Media Inc., plans to develop a regional Farm Center on the property where customers and visitors can enjoy daily tours to see organic crops grow. In the future, customers will be able to sample organic foods grown around the Organic Media store on the property. All donations will literally be "plowed back" into the center for educational additional research projects.
Organic Media Inc. is a "hands on" non-profit corporation. The company was founded and is operated by individuals with the experience and knowledge to educate the public on the best methods to grow, distribute and market organic production.
